Dr. Caroline Trapp is an expert in “deprescribing,” which is the process of weaning patients with diabetes off of their medications while their condition is improving on a whole-food plant-based diet. Come hear about her experiences with her many patients who are thriving with a safe, effective, and affordable alternative to pills and injections.

Dr. Trapp is the Director of Diabetes Education and Care with the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine in Washington, D.C. and has given hundreds of continuing medical education presentations around the U.S. and the world. She is also a nurse practitioner and certified diabetes educator with 20 years of experience in the primary care setting.
